Hoy descubrí el hogar de la estilista Lotta Agaton y me enamoré de su trabajo. Poco a poco, a lo largo del tiempo que llevo blogueando, he ido descubriendo lo que es el estilismo de interiores, diferenciarlo del diseño de interiores, y sobretodo, apreciar el talento necesario para hacerlo de una manera impecable. Definitivamente es una de las cosas que más disfruto hacer en mi tiempo libre: jugar a mover cosas y accesorios en la casa para crear atmósferas diferentes en el mismo espacio.
El estilismo (ambientar espacios, rincones, o incluso platos con comida como es el caso del food styling) es un asunto que se suele pasar por alto, o que se suele menospreciar, sin embargo, es algo que está cobrando cada vez más importancia, ya es capaz de transformar un cuarto vacío en un ambiente acogedor y antojable. Elegir los objetos y acomodarlos para que los espacios luzcan es todo un arte y vaya que toma tiempo.
Y justo eso es lo que me ha transmitido el hogar y el trabajo de Lotta. A simple vista, tal vez hasta pasa desapercibido. Ése es el chiste precisamente del buen estilismo; es casual, natural. No es forzado. En fin, perdón si hoy escribí un poco más de lo que acostumbro… estoy pensando en voz alta, después de haber observado con detenimiento las fotos. Además de todo lo ya dicho, esta casa es un lugar hermoso, con una arquitectura muy linda y muebles increíbles. Toda una pasada. A disfrutar y ¡feliz ombligo de semana para todos!
I recently discovered the home of stylist Lotta Agaton, and fell in love with her work. Little by little, throughout the time I’ve been blogging, I’ve come to realize what “styling” is, differentiating it from interior design, and above all, appreciating the talent it takes to make good styling. It’s definitely one of the things I enjoy doing at home in my free time: playing around with accesories and stuff to try and create different feelings in the same space.
Styling is often underrated, and yet at the same time, something that is taking more importance each day. Picking the right objects and arranging them so that it looks amazing certainly is an art and takes time. And that’s what Lotta’s work has transmitted to me. At first, you might overlook it. And that’s where good styling lies, it feels natural, not forced.
Anyhow, besides everything I’ve mentioned, this is an amazing home, with lots of character and gorgeous details. Hope you enjoy it!
