It’s no secret I’m in love with window nooks. I love those tiny spaces, especially when they are dedicated for seating, or reading, they are so adorable and inspiring. Making one, if you have the place (though small) doesn’t have to be complicated, and it could become your favorite spot at home. Even more so if you choose to make it with a double functionality, like this one I’m sharing today.
This window nook is lovely, and it’s got a place to seat and read, maximizing storage space underneath (which you can never have enough of), plus, it has a tiny desk, which is super functional! With a simple, mid-century vibe to it, it’s the perfect way to use that space under the window… or we could also have it bohemian style! The same space, but another feeling. Ready? 😉
For this look, lots of fabric is added (giving the ilusion of a canopy bed). Everything looks light and airy, with lots of texture and ethnic touches, for a bohemian vibe. Same space, two styles. I think I love both, but for my daily, hectic life, I’d rather have a mix of them, meaning I would like the first one, without the curtains, though adding extra texture and pillows, like in the second one. I would spend there all day, reading a good book and enjoying a cup of tea (or an icecream). Which is your favorite?
