¡Por fin es viernes! Después de días largos y mucho trabajo, hoy tengo la inspiración perfecta de cara al fin de semana, con un espacio que he tenido en mis archivos de inspiración desde hace tiempo, y que recientemente reencontré. Se trata de un dormitorio infantil en aqua y amarillo, lleno de estilo y carácter, con un increíble estilo industrial.
It’s finally Friday, yay! After long weekdays and lots of work, today we have the perfect inspiration to start the weekend, with a space I’ve had in my inspiration files for a little while, and recently found again. It’s a gorgeous aqua and yellow kids bedroom, full of style and character, with an amazing industrial style.
La cosa con este azul turquesa es que nunca me canso de él. Es uno de mis colores favoritos, nomás lo veo, me pongo de buen humor. 😀 Es fresco, alegre, está de moda… pero además es ideal para niños Y niñas. Es una versión diferente de los azules típicos que se usan en los cuartos masculinos, y se ve increíble con azul marino, verdes o amarillos, y es una excelente alternativa a los colores femeninos tradicionales, si se combina con muebles blancos, por ejemplo. Incluso es perfecto para cualquier otro espacio en casa… ¿te lo imaginas en una cocina, con gabinetes blancos?
The thing with teals and turquoises is I never get tired of them. It’s one of my favorite color palettes, and it gets me in such a good mood. 😀 It’s fresh, joyful, and trendy… and works for boys AND girls. It’s slightly different than the traditional blue hues used for boys, and looks amazing with deep blue, green, and yellow, and such a pretty color for girls, combined with white or gray, for instance. It’s even perfect for any other room… can you see it in a kitchen wall, with white cabinets?
Adoro el uso de piezas vintage industriales, y cómo le aportan mucha personalidad al espacio. En combinación con detalles contemporáneos (como el tapiz, o la cajonera), la recámara queda muy equilibrada, y verdaderamente hermosa.
I love the use of vintage industrial pieces, and how they add personality. Combined with more modern details (such as the wallpaper), the outcome is a balanced bedroom, truly amazing.
Espero que tengan un muy buen fin de semana… yo estaré entre proyectos de diseño (que pronto espero estar compartiendo) y reuniones con familia y amigos. Así que me mantendré bien ocupada 🙂
